Grainger PR was approached by Glamis and Area Community Council to instigate a media campaign to help save their local Post Office which was under threat along with hundreds of others throughout the UK. In consultation with the Dowager Countess of Strathmore, we invited the local and national media to Glamis to help drum up support. The interest was overwhelming and subsequent coverage was generated in a range of media – both print and broadcast – including GMTV, Scottish Television (STV) and BBC as well as the Daily Telegraph,The Herald, Daily Record, The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Express.

More to the point, it worked. The Post Office was saved.
